Welcome! I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. As a Central Valley native, I acquired my Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling as well as my Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from California State University, Fresno.

I was inspired to pursue this healing profession by the children and adolescents I have had the opportunity to work and play with in various settings: summer camp, Valley Children’s Hospital, martial art studio, child grief support, early learning educator (age: 2), & substitute teacher (K-12). It was through these experiences that I recognized the complexity of the family system as a unit and the significance of the emotional and relational interconnectedness of its members.

Throughout my studies, I have worked with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, families, and groups (co-parenting, anger management, grief support) within various mental health settings: Central Valley Suicide Prevention Hotline, hospice support, school districts, & community counseling services.

I would describe myself as a heart-centered therapist who works from a “bottom-up” perspective, driven by a passion for universal truth, human connection, and nurturance & healing of self-worth and core-wounds. My foundation is grounded upon Attachment Theory, Systems Theory, Structural Theory, Object Relations Theory, and Internal Family Systems Theory. I utilize various humanistic modalities including: Emotion-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Theraplay, Mindfulness, and Existentialism, as well as integrate behavioral components from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am also trained in Vinyasa yoga and Vipassana meditation and utilize the various mindfulness techniques in both therapeutic and personal settings.

I recognize the sanctity of the therapeutic process and create a space in which you can feel accepted for all of your vulnerabilities and release the weight of your heart. It is an honor to walk alongside you as you embark on your healing path.
